Red & White Martisor (diminutive of the name for March) Rope – the complementary colours present in all the key traditions of the Daco-Romanian folklore.
Red is the colour of fire, blood, & the symbol of life, associated with the woman and White is the colour of the cold snow, foamy waters, the clouds.
The main picture was taken with a FUJIFILM brand camera, model FinePix S5700 S700 on Monday 1st March 2010 by the Robert & Mihaela Vicol photographers.
