Standing Out

Standing Out

f/3.5, 1/125, ISO-100, 18mm

I found it terribly hard to get a focus on this. It’s not that it was moving…it was a very still morning. But autofocus was having a hard time catching on to it, and my eyes are old and tire quickly after squinting through the viewfinder, making my own efforts to focus unreliable after only a few seconds. Eventually the camera got it though and I was fairly pleased with it, though not as much as I like the one I’ll post next time (even if the next one isn’t focused quite as sharply).

  1. Yes ! What is that with the autofocus not reading our minds as to what we want to have focus on anyway? Now with my 7D 19 focus points, it always is guessing wrong what I want as the focal point. Look forward to seeing the next pic.
